Modern Suspects
"Many have said that we are lost in our apathy. He are oblivious to our vanity. We are prisoners of anxiety. We are suspected of chasing the unattainable, of daring to embrace individuality, of hoping beyond hope. We use this hope as a guide. We unify with one goal in mind: to rise above the detractor's noise. We are all Modern Suspects."

In seeking to define why they make music, Modern Suspects solidified this statement after many a motive questioning conversation. "Demons in the Night" is a turning point for the band. A lynchpin of the the band's live set, the song had rested in their ether for over a year. The chorus stands as a declaration of defiance in the face of adversity, an ode to their axiom - "Demons in the night, you tempt me / With the white flag you gave me / I'll set your flag to flame / Make a torch and light my way."

Following its release on July 10, 2017, "Demons in the Night" will be represented in an adventurous music video released by SneakyBoy Studios. Filmed in various abandoned buildings, caves, mountains, and bridges around Colorado, the footage was collected despite a run in with a gun-wielding man at one shooting location. While the guys don't intend on making a habit of risking their lives for their art, they can nonetheless say they're willing to sacrifice.

A staple of the Colorado music scene, Modern Suspects has frequented venues such as The Gothic, The Bluebird, and The Black Sheep, as well as appearances at Broomfield's 1st Bank Center and Fort Collins' Moby Arena. Their songs have enjoyed airplay on 103.9 KRXP, 93.3 KTCL, and 94.3 KMAX.
After meeting at a party and realizing they both had the same first name, Chris Kimmel and Chris Scott immediately knew that they had to form a group and change human existence as we know it. They joined forces and created what is now known as OptycNerd. Since then, the Denver-based duo has crafted their own signature sound- one that fuses electronic production with the lyrical and melodic elements of hip hop and pop. They channel some of their favorite artists including Snakehips, Disclosure, Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, and Classixx to create what critics have called "some of the hottest new music since Gregorian chant." When people first hear their music, they often say things like, "It's not bad" or "this is okay." With consistently dope releases such as their new single, “Instigator,” OptycNerd has proven themselves to be key players in the Denver music scene. With these guys on your radar, you can expect a constant supply of bangers, an outrageous social media presence, and high energy live performances. In the future, OptycNerd plans to keep working at their craft and eventually become elite members of the Illuminati.
VYNYL is the Wave Pop brainchild of Lyricist Andrew Ceronio and Producer/Frontman Tyler White. After meeting through a mutual friend, they realized they shared the same dream: creating music that invokes emotion: the kind you would seek out and purchase on vinyl. Picking up everything they owned and moving to the city of Denver, Colorado on a whim, they reinvented themselves in a new and exciting environment of sights, sounds, and experiences.

Over the period of two years, they worked tirelessly in quiet to define their signature blend of lush textures and authentic rhythmic and analog instrumentation. What they came up with, was a sound similar to other genre-bending pop/rock acts like Tears for Fears, The Neighbourhood, Blackbear, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and The 1975. Their unique writing process is a combined effort, and it relies heavily on collaboration and innovation. When listening to VYNYL, you can feel that there is something more to what you hear. Ceronio's catchy and smart lyrical content coupled with Whiteley's dark crooning vocals, paint a perfect picture for the complex themes the band tackles, using personable imagery and relatable concepts as an anchor in their work.

After the explosive release of their debut single, "Reaction", They journeyed in to the Blasting Room (Rise Against, A Day To Remember, Flobots, 888) to further craft their sound. Their second single "Blue Dreams" went viral and is played on iHeart radio stations and local broadcasts in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and more.
With only a year as a performing act under their belt, their momentum is truly exciting to watch. They have gone from opening in small clubs to multiple sold out shows and festival appearances alongside international acts such as Blink 182, Bleachers, Dreamers, Sir Sly, St. Lucia, The Plain White Tees, and many more. They have also received airplay and received regular rotation from iHeart Media and local radio stations in their home state and surrounding states alike. You don't want to sleep on VYNYL - The future for these young, up and coming artists looks incredibly bright.
