Tight Fright
"Captain Beefheart wandering the desert tripping on peyote with Motörhead, leaving a trail of empty baggies and beer bottles, giving zero fucks."
Hellgrammites is a family band from Denver, Colorado consisting of brothers and cousins. The group likes to play music that invokes emotions not normally meant to be felt by an audience. Lehi Petersen (guitar, vocals, keyboards) states:

“Music traditionally addresses a limited range of emotions; happy, sad, angry, etc. We want to address feeling, emotions, and issues that people don’t feel comfortable talking about. That’s why we call ourselves discomfort punk. There are so many fucked up things in the world that everyone chooses to ignore on a daily basis. We want to bring those things out through our music.”

Hellgrammites incorporate characters and costumes into their live performances as well. With characters Mr. New Booty (Erik Petersen), Jaundice Bukkake (Lehi Petersen), Dr. Hartacus (Troy Ten Eyck), and Arete (Jared Petersen), the members take on a stage presence that is entertaining, provocative, fun, and uncomfortable all at the same time.
The Uglys
The UGLYS were formed in 2012 by Kansas City musicians Victor Jadlow and Zach Kane; the duo quickly relocated to Denver, CO in 2013 and released their first demos shortly thereafter. After spending the majority of 2014 writing and recording “High As Heaven, Drunk As Hell” with Producer/Engineer Tim Gerak (The Photo Atlas, Confluence) at Mammoth Cave Studios, the band added bassist Jared "The Boss" Kane and made their much anticipated live debut in February 2015.

As a three piece the band then embarked on a plethora of local shows and regional tours before recording their second EP "Up In Smoke, Down In Flames" with local musician Alex Scott (Bastards, Neon Blonde) at his studio, Red Wall Audio in January 2016. Shortly afterwards the band added Boston native Lucas Batten on drums, and continued building momentum performing in larger venues on longer tours.

"Up In Smoke, Down In Flames" is planned for a late Spring release on Red-Eyed Records
