Mirror Fields
Mirror Fields merges psychedelia, folk and art rock. Formed in January 2017 out of Fort Collins the five piece began in an abandoned private library outside of city limits creating songs with atmospheric nods to Americana bands such as Cass McCombs and The War On Drugs and experimental rock like Here We Go Magic. Lyrically singer/guitarist Josh Martin evokes elusive and then transformative moments with a sense of being suspended above seemingly impenetrable angst. The band compliments this narrative, blending old and new. Shimmering lead guitar (Michael Crouch) and violin (Liz Gaylor) pops and bleeds through lucid bass (Seeder Whaley) and drum (Simon Martin) rhythms.
