In an effort to establish a little street cred, and introduce themselves to the world the band independently released their debut single "The Wave" in 2013. The effort was a success receiving fantastic reviews and turning up the buzz factor around this Colorado quintet.
In 2014. After taking the time to hone in on the sound All Chiefs were looking for. The band released their Highly Anticipated EP Titled "The Danger Mission EP" this release established them as a sonic forced to be reckoned with. The Danger Mission incorporates the best parts of indie rock, classic and modern dance, and atmospheric noise. with enough pop sensibility to win over listeners of all types.
For All Chiefs 2015 was About shows shows shows. The band took to the streets solidifying their live performance prowess. Playing with bands like the Mowglis, and Fitz and the Tantrums. Leaving it all on the stage at festivals, clubs, and in basements all over. In late 2015 All Chiefs parted ways with their original guitarist, and brought on performer, song writer, and secret weapon Zack Dare. With the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign band also began recording their second EP "Fashion Forward" to be released in spring of 2016.
This band oozes Hypnotic guitars riffs, moving bass lines, earthshaking drums, lush synths, plenty of beeps, boops, and digital sprinkles. All lovingly stitched together with bittersweet hook laden vocal melodies. Some call it indie rock. some say alternative dance pop. In the end you should listen & decide for yourself. Because we are All Chiefs.
Founded by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Greg Laut, Whiskey Autumn began as a bedroom folk project before recruiting bassist Jason Paton and drummer Matty Schelling into the fold. The revamped lineup delved into influences ranging from 1960s pop and soul to 1990s R&B and rock. The band’s recent material is currently featured on college radio stations throughout the country and has received critical acclaim from publications such as Colorado Public Radio, Denver Post's The Know, Marquee Magazine, Bolderbeat, The Prelude Press, and Yellowscene Magazine.
Whiskey Autumn is diving headfirst into 2017 with extensive tour dates planned throughout the US.
