A lysergic twist on modern folk-rock. Edison is a trio hailing from Colorado that spend a majority of the time touring the country in Van Morrison and Trailer Swift. Debut LP "Familiar Spirit" out now!
"Musically he felt like a long lost friend. We were always going to do a project together. We just needed time to know it."

Falling in love with each other musically came first for the perfectly paired Dave Preston and Rachel James. Admiring each other's musical works from afar, the two built very successful musical careers separately. After getting married, nothing made more sense than to try creating together. The two had already paired up, performing together in Rachel and the Kings. But when they started writing together they found a niche all their own somewhere between powerful vocal dynamics, orchestral guitar arrangements and lyrical detail. The two purposefully put on heartfelt and memorable shows and have incorporated that feeling into their new recordings.

Dave Preston's musical background is as varied and impressive as his skill with a guitar. He has played with: Justin Timberlake, Matt Morris, Charlie Sexton, Kelly Clarkson, Ingrid Michaelson, Emerson Hart, Keaton Simons, Tony Lucca, One Eskimo, Trace Bundy, Tab Benoit, Gregory Alan Isakov. In addition he has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, CBS Morning Show, Lopez Tonight, as well as a live performance/recording on "HOPE FOR HAITI NOW" with Justin Timberlake and Matt Morris. He has also been recognized internationally for his ambient guitar work through radio and other media outlets.

Rachel James has written songs for Tyler Ward, Jess Moskaluke, and other accomplished artists. She has won industry accolades as a songwriter, winning the Durango Songwriting Conference Country Song Category. Her band, Rachel and the Kings opened for Third Eye Blind, The Fray, ZZ Ward and many others. They worked with the award-winning, Don Was, after beating out 2500 other bands to win Ford's Gimme the Gig II followed up by being named one of Clear Channel's KTCL Top Bands in Colorado during the Hometown for the Holidays contest in 2012.

Dave and Rachel along with Noah Matthews (bass) and Joel Matthews (drums) have created music meant to take the listener on a journey, lyrically and musically. With no lack of experience under their belts, Dearling is ready to make a lasting impression on their fans in 2015. "Whether it's an intimate show or an arena, our highest intention is to connect with our audience and to make an impact."

Morning Bear
Morning Bear
The brainchild of Denver-based singer/songwriter John Runnels, Morning Bear is an orchestral indie folk project that channels emotion through vivid imagery and intricate melodies. Morning Bear was formed when Runnels quit his dayjob as an engineer and took a one-way ticket to Europe. From the streets of Sevilla, Spain to the botanic gardens of Copenhagen, the songs touch on following your dreams, growing older, and the doubts of life and love. Characterized by highly dynamic compositions, Morning Bear’s music is a synthesis of the calm and delicate stylings of artists like Bon Iver and Jose Gonzalez with the complexity and depth of the Fleet Foxes and Sufjan Stevens. Featuring soaring vocals and atypical arrangements including cello, violin, piano and more, Morning Bear provides a textured landscape behind pop-influenced hooks.
