Folly Fields
Folly Fields is an Indie-folk-rock collaborative project started in Philadelphia in 2012 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Ally Leedy. Together they weave synth-pop sounds with folkloric narratives. Listening to Irish-folk music Leedy started writing and performing at age 15. She now draws on a wide range of influences and inspirations, from Sharon Van Etten and Juana Molina to The National and Sufjan Stevens. Folly Fields self-released their first album "Limbs and Longings" in 2014. Their most recent EP "Fluid Lungs" (2015) is now available on bandcamp, soundcloud, spotify and itunes. Folly Fields's second full-length album will be released in February 2017 written and recorded at Gullkistan artist residency in Iceland.
