A rock group based in Denver, Kinesics is inspired by Manchester Orchestra, Lucy Dacus, and the spirit of Saddle Creek, apparent in their impactful lyrics with almost too many words packed into each line and spacey instrumentation. The songwriting in this project primarily functions as a processing mechanism for everyday communication and interaction, and has experienced growth from a solo project, to a duo, to a dynamic and cohesive four-piece.
Coastal Wives is a band from Denver Colorado that has a sound almost as eclectic as its name. Originally started as a humble songwriting project, the two man crew has grown into a four piece outfit; neither coastal nor wives, together they make lyrically driven and groove infused indie rock.
Anthony Ruptak is a Denver-based musician who composes, writes and performs his original work with a simple mission: to connect us all to the human condition. Through his lyrics, community cultivation, and activism Anthony advocates for positive, inclusive progress in our society. Anthony Ruptak aims to be a voice for the lost and disaffected, a midnight friend for those with nowhere else to go, a sounding board when you need a place to put your voice, and a safety net for the misshapen, the abandoned, and the eccentric because everyone’s a freak and he is so okay with that.
Three songwriters singing in harmony.
